DiffSim is a free open source tool that provides an atomistic approach to efficiently simulate Bragg coherent x-ray diffraction imaging (BCDI) diffraction patterns.
It does so by factorising and eliminating certain redundancies in the conventional approach. This powerful approach is able to reduce computation times by several orders of magnitude without compromising the data quality.
DiffSim enables atomistic diffraction simulations on nanoscale crystals with arbitrary lattice distortions.
DiffSim can utilise CPU, MPI and GPU acceleration.
